About This Service
A Re-Roof Is A Rebuild, Not Just New Tiles
A full re-roof means scaffolding, stripping the old covering and underlay back to the structure, then inspecting and repairing rafters and timbers while they are exposed. Only then do we lay new breathable membrane and treated battens and re-cover the roof.
The old felt comes off, hidden rot gets dealt with, and the coverings go back correctly fixed to BS 5534 for wind uplift, with proper ventilation to control condensation. It is the unfashionable, do-it-once approach, and it is why our roofs last.

When more than 25% of a roof is re-covered, Building Regulations (Approved Document L, the 25% rule) can require the roof to meet current insulation standards. We handle that as part of the job rather than springing it on you later.
