Don't Just Take Our Word For It
Rated five stars on Google by Surrey homeowners who've trusted us with their emergency roofing, from Shere to Cranleigh and across the wider county. After more than 36 years on Surrey roofs, most of our emergency roofing work still comes the old-fashioned way: neighbours recommending us over the fence. You can read all our reviews, word for word.
About This Service
Make Safe First, Fix Properly After
An emergency callout is about stopping the damage: we make the roof safe, contain the leak with temporary sheeting or tarpaulin, clear anything dangerous, and photograph everything for your insurer. The permanent repair follows once it is safe to do it right.
That order matters. Trying a full permanent repair in high wind, driving rain or the dark is how corners get cut. We protect your home tonight, then come back and put it right in daylight and dry conditions.
When To Call
Roof Emergencies We Handle
If water is getting in or tiles are coming off, don't wait for it to get worse. Call, and we'll talk you through it.
Storm DamageAfter high winds and named storms, slipped and blown-off tiles, lifted ridges and damaged flashings made safe fast.
Active LeaksWater through the ceiling contained and traced, so it stops now and the cause is dealt with properly afterwards.
Temporary WeatherproofingTarpaulin and sheeting to make you watertight tonight, then a permanent repair when conditions allow.
Missing & Blown-Off TilesGaps covered and coverings refixed before wind-driven rain gets into the roof structure.
Fallen Debris & TreesBranch or debris damage assessed, made safe, and documented for your insurance claim.
Insurance DocumentationClear photos and a written account of the damage, so your claim is straightforward.
Good To Know
A Real Person, Not A Call Centre
Roofs don't fail during office hours. When you call Wey Valley Roofing, day, night or weekend, an experienced local roofer answers and tells you honestly what to do next, including how to stay safe until we arrive.
Be wary of anyone who skips making safe and pushes straight for a full re-roof, wants cash only, or won't put anything in writing. A genuine emergency roofer protects your home first and separates the temporary fix from the permanent repair.

Active leaks and storm damage are prioritised for same-day and next-day response. Exact timing depends on the weather, access and how many emergencies are in the queue, and we'll always be honest about it on the phone.
Often, yes. We photograph the damage and provide a written account so you have clear evidence for your claim. Keep any receipts for temporary work too.
No. Please stay off the roof and out from under any sagging ceiling, and keep clear of loose tiles below. Call us and we'll advise what's safe to do from the ground.
No, and it shouldn't be. Temporary weatherproofing buys time. We always follow up with a proper permanent repair once it is safe, and tell you exactly what that involves.
